Note on certificate of attendance & certification

Our online courses are designed for self-paced training in a self-study format. They do not include an individual examination or performance assessment by the provider. An optional integrated multiple-choice test is only available for voluntary self-monitoring and has no influence on the issuing of a certificate of attendance.

The certificate of attendance is issued on request when all course content has been completed. It documents participation, not learning success in the sense of an examination.

The courses do not constitute distance learning within the meaning of the German Distance Learning Protection Act (FernUSG). Approval by the Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht (ZFU) is therefore not required.

Optional certification

A voluntary certification exam can be booked separately, independently of the course. The certification is an independent offer, legally and in terms of content separate from the online course. Participation in the course is not a prerequisite for certification, and certification is not part of the course.
