Award ceremony by Christian Wulff, former Federal President.
At the award ceremony of the German SME Summit on Friday, June 23, in Augsburg, former German President Christian Wulff personally presented our founder and Managing Director Erno Marius Obogeanu-Hempel with the trophy. Wulff acts as patron and mentor for the consultancy competition.
Scientific customer survey as the main criterion for the award
The Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB), under the direction of Prof. Dr. Dietmar Fink, Professor of Management Consulting at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, and Bianka Knoblach, conducted a study in the form of a scientific customer survey to determine how well the consultants advised their SME customers. One of the test criteria was how satisfied the customers were with the consulting service and whether they would recommend the consulting firm to others. The decisive factor for the award is a customer-oriented, SME-oriented consulting service.
At the award ceremony, Professor Fink emphasized that the award is a valuable guide:
“The seal, which is essentially based on a customer survey, provides SMEs looking for advice with a recommendation of where SME-related expertise is particularly strong.”
